Jeremy Fishnick Reviews: What 35 Five-Star Google Reviews Actually Say
I'll be upfront about something: it's a little strange to write a blog post about your own reviews. But people search for "Jeremy Fishnick reviews" every month, and when they do, I'd rather they land on a page where I walk through what those reviews say and what they don't, instead of a star rating with no context.
Short answer: As of this writing, Fishnick Realty has 16 Google reviews and Complete Inspections LLC has 19, all of them five stars, for 35 total. The themes that come up over and over are thoroughness, patience with first-time buyers, explaining things in plain terms, marketing that produced multiple offers, and being reachable when it mattered.
Where the reviews come from
I have two Google Business profiles because I run two licensed businesses. Fishnick Realty, Jeremy Fishnick is my real estate profile. Complete Inspections LLC at 411 N Adams St in Lancaster is my home inspection profile. Together they cover buyers, sellers, and people who only hired me to inspect a house they were buying through someone else.
I'm sharing the quotes below with first name and last initial. They're all public on Google if you want to read them in full, and I'd encourage you to. I'm not going to pretend 35 reviews is a huge number. In a region where the towns have a few thousand people each, I'm fine with it.
What sellers say
The most consistent seller theme is that the marketing worked. Emre B., who sold a home in Platteville, wrote: "In days of listing, their target marketing and long reach brought in multiple buyers with competitive offers. The whole process was very fast, smooth, and made me feel at ease from listing to close." That sale ended up beating the local market record, with multiple offers and no contingencies. I wrote about the approach behind it in my post on pricing a home to create competition.
Bruna P. sold with me while living overseas, and we timed the whole thing so they signed, moved, and closed within a week of coming back to the States. Her review: "His excellent marketing approach allowed us to obtain the best price for our home. I would strongly recommend him to anyone who is planning on selling or buying in SW Wisconsin."
The one that means the most to me professionally came from Daniel M., an investor who had me sell an inherited estate in Boscobel for an out-of-state owner who never set foot on the property. He wrote: "I'm a career flipper having listed a few hundred flips through realtors over the past several years. Jeremy Fishnick stands above almost every one that I've worked with." Someone who has worked with hundreds of agents has a basis for comparison that most people don't.
Ellen C. kept it short: "goes the extra mile to help with selling a house. He is number 1 in our eyes."
What buyers say
Buyer reviews tend to mention patience and information. Karen C., a first-time buyer, wrote: "As a first-time homebuyer, I had a lot of questions about the whole process and he was very patient with me... He helped me find the perfect home in my price range that exceeded what I had expected to be able to buy." Karen also hired me for her inspection, and her inspection review said I "checked absolutely everything everywhere" and explained problems "in a way I could understand."
Abel C. zeroed in on the dual license: "Not only is he a knowledgeable Wisconsin Real Estate agent, he also has experience as a home inspector. Information is a powerful weapon to have when negotiating a home sale or purchase so you're in great hands with Jeremy!"
Troy E. was buying hunting land and wrote that I "dropped everything to meet me the same day I called." That one I'll take credit for. Rural land in this area moves to whoever shows up first, and I know it.
Jolita V. in Dodgeville mentioned "professionalism, patience, and dedication to going the extra mile." Jaspreet S. wrote about "thoroughness in ensuring every inspection was done properly, leaving no loose ends." Mark K. said I'm "not only the best real estate agent I have ever met but he has gone out of his way to become a very good friend," which is kind, and also a reminder that in a small market your clients become your neighbors.
What inspection clients say
The inspection reviews are where the word "thorough" shows up the most, and it's the word I care about most. A few examples:
- Brandon M.: "Jeremy was professional and extremely thorough. He took the time to explain everything in clear, easy-to-understand terms. The inspection report was detailed, well-organized, and delivered promptly."
- Jennifer N.: "incredibly thorough and explained everything that was of concern. The report was super thorough with pictures and videos."
- Mandy Jo C., from an inspection back in 2021: "very patient & extremely thorough! I still use his reports for reference."
- Jeanne Z.: "Report was put together nicely: easy to read along with recommendations. Very easy to schedule."
- Thomas M.: "I've had Jeremy do multiple inspections for me... I wouldn't call anyone else for an inspection."
One review I like came from another agent, Jeni O.-R., whose buyer's lender needed a last-minute inspection: "his quick and accurate inspection allowed our closing to stay as scheduled!" Agents don't usually leave reviews for inspectors. When they do, it's because you saved their deal.
Melanie R., who bought in Fennimore as a first-time buyer, wrote that I was "thorough and gave us a lot of helpful pointers and guidance." Ben A. added that my "fee was very reasonable," which I include because people do ask.
What the reviews don't tell you
Reviews are written by people whose deals closed. They don't capture the buyers I talked out of a house because the foundation scared me, or the sellers I told to wait a season because their price wasn't realistic yet. Those conversations don't generate five-star reviews, but they're a big part of the job.
Reviews also can't tell you whether we'll get along. The best way to find that out is a phone call. If you want to know what the process looks like before you call, I laid it out in what working with me looks like, week by week.
Why I keep both profiles separate
I could fold everything into one profile and show a bigger number. I don't, because someone looking for an inspector in Lancaster should see inspection reviews, and someone looking for a listing agent in Platteville should see seller reviews. Mixing them would make the number look better and the information worse.
